I am a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) on the System Center Configuration Manager team. After a 2 year stint as a member of an IT infrastructure/architecture team and managing large messaging systems and data centers for one of the premiere Wall Street firms I decided to step into the world of actually being part of a product development team that addresses this growing issue of how to effectively manage IT infrastructure.
I have been with Microsoft for over 3 years now and my past projects include
Microsoft BizTalk Server 2006
and
Microsoft BizTalk Server 2006 R2
. I was an integral part of the team that designed the SQL Reporting Services integration component in
Configuration Manager 2007 R2
and my first post gives an overview of this new feature and the benefits it provides over the ASP-based reporting point that exists in Configuration Manager 2007 R2 and previous releases. I will be blogging about more specific features in my subsequent posts.
