Day 8 & 9
In Day 8, we dived proper into Microsoft's Power Automate. In this session, Omolola Alfred a Power Platform Developer at HaShem utilizes the power of Power Automate to automate multiple tasks of admin staff in her organization enabling them focus on more important responsibilities and reduce the workload on them. Our Power Automate solution needs some more specific features though. We want heads of departments to approve their employees' requests first before sending to the admin staff to process and work on. Using the Switch functionality in Power Automate we can make this happen. Immediately the response is approved or rejected, our SharePoint list is updated. Our flow is also designed to send an email to the employee informing him or her of the result of the request.
Day 10
It's Day 10 of the #30DaysOfLearning program already. Today we learn about Power Apps. Power Apps is an amazing tool that enables us build applications that are access to people within our organization. In this session, Kolawole Ajiboye a Microsoft Certified Trainer talks about the benefits of Microsoft's Power Apps and heads over to show how easy it is to build applications on Power Apps. Day 11
What is like building with Power Apps? In this session, Oluwatobi Yusuf a Subject Matter Expert at Chevron Nigeria takes us through what it's like building a canvas application using Microsoft's Power Apps. With Power Apps, it's easy for you to create and use custom business applications utilizing existing knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint. All you need to do is add components to your app as you build.
