From Introduction to Power BI, Clean, Transform, and Load Data with Power Query, Data Modelling in Power BI, Data Analysis Expression (DAX) for Beginners, and many more. Week 2 was nothing less than a super-packed week.
Before I share a recap of what we co-learn this week, let me call your attention to some of the stories and testimonies in the community.
We are constantly looking for opportunities to showcase the amazing work you are building with your skill. I met with some participants in the 30Days of Learning to hear from them what their experience has been like, I was more than impressed with the results. check the video for the details
Temidayo is a year 4 Medical Student from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria Participating in the 30Days of Learning engagement. Temidayo counts it an amazing opportunity to be part of the 30Days of Learning opportunity and share with us how she has been able to apply things she was learning in her personal projects. Yes, she still wants to become a Medical Doctor, but she believes these skills are needful in helping her better manage patients with medical challenges.
Sunday, a Law Student from University of Ibadan, Nigeria Participating in the 30Days of Learning engagement. He counts it a miracle to come across the learning opportunity and share with us what he has been able to learn during this engagement. While he will continue in the Legal Sector as a Barrister, he believes the knowledge of data and skill acquired will help him support businesses better in the future.
Meet Abdul-Roqeeb, a Medical Student from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Nigeria Participating in the 30Days of Learning engagement. He is fascinated by the things he has learnt which includes ability to scrape data from the web with Excel, Build Dashboard with Excel, Create Power BI Dashboard from SharePoint List and MS Teams and being able to embed the report into PowerPoint slide, and many more. He hopes to infuse data analysis into his decision making as a practicing Medical Personnel in the future.
This is barely 8 Days into the program, and we have seen this level of transformation. Another interesting thing about this spotlight is the current course of study by the participants. coming from non-STEM background and learning as much as this in barely 8 days is amazing.
