MS Teams Adoption Roadblock Due to Inability to Remove parts of Threaded Conversation

Copper Contributor

One of my customers has reached a roadblock to adoption of Teams. In the old way of doing things people would "collaborate" using emails so it was easy in the case of a law suit to provide only emails that were related to a particular issue.

In the MS Teams world they are trying to figure out how to present only a subset of the conversation rather than the entire thread that may have other topics or information not related to the case.

So now, until their legal team figures this out nothing is happening and the Teams pilot is on hold.

Has anyone else come across this or have any suggestions?

Have you tried all the eDiscovery options in O365 including content search? I doubt if you would get anything that will extract some content and ignore others within the same thread or conversation.
