Will the reading list feature ever come back?

Copper Contributor

On the old version of edge there was a reading list feature.

It was a great feature where I could add a webpage to the reading list then I could get straight to that page on my mobile phone or tablet. Much easier to use than favourites.

Now I'm using Edge beta on my Windows 8.1 laptop and currently there is no reading list feature.

It's actually one of the reasons I prefer Edge on mobile than Chrome.

Will it be coming to the desktop version?

Hi welcome,
the answer is: it's possible
I'm also hopeful that they bring reading list along with other unique features that only Edge has to this new browser.
the Edge insider team recently made an announcement, they talked about their roadmap and said that they are reviewing requests for adding certain features from the old to the new Edge, one of them is the Reading list. you can read the full post here:

Thanks. There's hope then. I'll have to keep my fingers crossed.
