WHY DOES EDGE NOT PRESERVE MY EXCEL FORMATS WHEN I PASTE A FORMATTED TABLE INTO GMAIL?

As a Google Chrome user who is looking for a better browser experience, one of the deficits of Edge is that I loose all the formats when I paste a table from Excel into a Gmail. Please see the attached Screen Shots to view the problem.

As of now you can only attach the Excel file as a workaround.
