Simple question: When (date...year...) will MS developers makes us go directly to the stored homepage?
The homepage is managed by our company IT department and it is correctly set to our intranet address.
But the new EDGE does not take me there !
Yes,....the first time I restart the PC, it brings me there, but in all other cases I am brought to a kind of stupid EDGE homepage with eggs, birds, frogs....you name it....and some "buttons" that adds up every day. I have no use for that page, but EDGE forces me to go there and from there hit a button with the company Intranet address.
I am sure nobody want this behavior.
If MS developers are very eager to offer this photos with hens, snakes, eggs....make another tic box option so you can select to start with the "EDGE" homepage and another one where the start homepage actually works as intended.
I am pretty sure this current behavior is not in alignment with EU rules so MS better change before they send another fee to MS to pay.
The wasted time the workforce in EU spend because they must go through the EDGE homepage is 3 million $ every day if they most do this 10 times a day.....to put it in perspective. Easily saved if the function works as in otehr browsers and really brings you to the set homepage directly.
