Yes it's a link, you're not supposed to double click links, that's basics.
also if you only click one time in the Green area, it will only select that favorite entry, you have to double click there to open it in the new tab. there is no one-click option to open it in a new tab unless you use the middle mouse button.

Please checkout this post, it's an easier way to deal with bookmarks/favorites and has less confusions and difficulties in its UI.

@HotCakeX I agree with you, but i am sure any software will not allow users to go a wrong way, so if Edge allow single click. only it is a single click only, if it allow double click so it must lead to something else

@MarsMas
Here's my opinion regarding Dbl Clk. It is really silly. Doing things with 2 clicks when they can be done with one seems like silly nonsense. I have used Windows on Single-Click as long as I can remember. This is another OS thing not, a browser thing. But, certainly, each to their own.
Cheers,
Drew

@Drew1903 Issue is not about like or dislike, it is about browser speed , CPU consumption and ram usage

@David Rubino any plan to implement screenshot functionality as in current Firefox version? It is a great tool I use a lot.

Been loving the new Edge so far, and it's been a huge improvement from the old one. But one thing for me is still missing, I love that you can now switch between multiple Microsoft accounts like you can do with Google accounts on Chrome, but on Chrome there's a little "square" button that if you click on it it'll drop down a menu with many Google services to quick-launch (Google Docs, Drive, Gmail, etc.). I would love you see something like that implemented into Edge, like a menu where you can fire up Word Online or your Outlook email straight from the home menu with just 2 clicks.

@AstraNorth
Hi & welcome,
I don't use FF so not terribly familiar with it, BUT, I can talk about 'screen shots'. 1st there is a distinction between screen shots & windows or parts thereof. Screen shots can be done 2 ways, PrtScn key or Snip & Sketch. Window or section snips, again can be done with Snip & Sketch. That said, as far as such a utility within the browser... it, already, exists in Edge. It is called Add notes. We are hoping expecting it is going to be in Edge C, sometime (soon). Countless people like yourself want to have this Feature, want it kept.
NB: There are extensions that act like Add notes, but, if nothing else lack the integrated sharing (such as to OneNote) and certainly, not the same as the built-in tool/Feature. Really, no comparison to Add notes.
Cheers,
Drew

Hi Robby & welcome,
Put this extension in & you will have no ads anymore. You can access it HERE.
NB: If you get "Sorry, can't find that page" just go back & hit it, again; site does work fine.
Cheers,
Drew

@Warstunn

Hi Lee,
I trust to reported the abuse. if not, please, do. Nobody can address this without info from you. Certainly, not nice to hear, sorry it happened to you.
Here is a picture of where Mr Smiley is located.
You can, also, submit feedback to the Edge C Team HERE.

I see, that's pretty neat. I didn't even know about that before as the default home page isn't that. I think most people (like me) who enjoys Google's service menu don't know about this which is very unfortunate :( . I'm thinking maybe Microsoft can add a menu just like that in between the search bar and the profile picture and include all MS services (including the likes of Mixer, Xbox, OneNote etc.)

That sounds good but the fact is Microsoft services need a very long list to include all of them :D

Hello,
I understand the ads can be super annoying,
here is the best ad-blocker extension made so far, called ublock Origin:
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/ublock-origin/cjpalhdlnbpafiamejdnhcphjbkeiagm?hl=en
it's the most effective one and uses the least system resources. so unlike other ad blockers, instead of slowing down your system, it actually will speed it up by preventing ad contents from loading in the first place. it can prevent malicious links, unwanted embedded bitcoin minders in the websites etc.
ublock Origins has got enough filters in it already but here is the full list of filters that you can add to it with just a click if you ever think they are not enough :)
