Touch keyboard swipe typing issue when using private browsing

I have noticed this issue ever since I began using edge dev build which was back on version 76 or 77. When browsing in private the touch keyboard does not except swipe input and only tap input regardless of using Surface Pen or finger on the touch keyboard. This happens on any and all web pages and all text input fields including the address bar regardless of hardware keyboard attached or not. This also seems to be unaffected by whether or not you are using tablet mode. This affects the touch keyboard in any and all of its configurations/layouts.

Does anyone know if this is by design or is this a bug?

We have a couple of questions for you:

1. What build and version are you currently using?
2. Can you confirm what device you're using? (There are some known issues with the touchpad around certain HPs, if I remember correctly.)
3. If you haven't yet, can you please submit detailed feedback and diagnostic data through the browser? (Shift + Alt + I) And if you'd like to make sure it gets to the right team ASAP, I can give you a code to include with the submission. If you're comfortable with that, feel free to DM me.
