Title attribute's tooltip is not appeared in IEMODE on Edge

Hi

I use win11 and IE mode on Microsoft Edge (94.0.992.47) . I have trouble with HTML title attribute's tooltip.

When use win11 and Edge(not IE mode), tooltip is appeared. But, using win11 and IE mode on Edge, tooltip is not appeared.

Is this IE mode's Bug?

Could you tell me if you know about this problem or solution

Thanks

I have the same problem. It occurs with both the stable version 95.0.1020.53 and the Canary 98.0.1078.0

Title attribute in Edge Version 97.0.1072.76 (Official build) (64-bit) in IEmode on Windows 10 works fine, but using the same Edge version on Windows 11 will not display. Switch off IEMode without leaving the same page and poof! tool tips display.

Same problem. It occurs on IE Mode with Edge stable version 98.0.1108.43 64bit on Windows 11
Bump - tooltips still not working on IE Mode on Edge Version 100.0.1185.39 (Official build) (64-bit), Windows 11 Version 21H2 (OS Build 22000.556).
If there is a workaround (editing the frontend code, different html tags, JS or similar), please let me know.l

@mnikley Yes Edge just updated today and still not fixed. Easy test is How to Add a Tooltip in HTML/CSS (No JavaScript Needed) (thesitewizard.com) without using IE mode the tooltip in the second paragraph works, but fails in IEMODE.

Tooltip got FIXED in IEMODE in Edge!
Windows 11 Pro 21H2 - Edge Version 101.0.1210.39 (Official build) (64-bit)

@Scott_Rutledge using the same edge/windows version as you mentioned, the attribute <title> still does not provide native tooltips on mouse-over with IEMode in Edge. Tested with: Tryit Editor v3.7 (w3schools.com)

Actually it works for me now.
