Streaming Players use incorrect audio output

In recent months I've discovered Edge has seemingly lost functionality with routing audio playback to the selected audio source from any of the major streaming sites (Netflix, etc.) and only plays to the system's Default output device (speakers). This problem does not seem to exist on any other browser that I've tested it with including other Chromium-based ones, only Edge does this. This also extends to the streaming services app on the Microsoft Store that uses the same Edge integration.

Despite having this selection made to have Edge play its audio to the LG source, just about any streaming video service still beelines straight to the speakers. I can open up a Youtube video that plays to that source and simultaneously open up a Netflix window and it will instead play to the default speakers in defiance of what Edge was assigned to play to.
