Still cannot understand why favorite button color is blue

After updating from Legacy to Chromium, favorite site button  changed from yellow to blue

i still cannot understand why.

can anyone tell me the reason?

it's not even a factor, importing favorites..the UI design won't change with that.

the reason is that it's just the new design of Edge browser, it is different from Edge legacy.

more changes are on the way with fluent design system applied to Edge UI

of course microsoft design language has changed.

I'm curious why edge was changed similar to Chrome. Chrome has blue icon.

i think yellow is better because it is more consistent with light mode and dark mode.

And it's yellow star is alot friendly
