Setting to imitate control/left mouse

As a long-time Firefox user, one feature that I really miss in Edge is the user setting that causes all bookmarks to open in a new tab. I know that I can do this by using Control/left mouse, but I am lazy, and automatically opening bookmarks in a new tab saves me overwriting a tab that I still want to use.

I see what you're saying. I usually by habit right click the website in my favorites (bar) and than click open in new tab. Having a setting or user option to allow it too automatically open in a new tab without having to right click and manually asking it to do so would be a cool feature. Maybe the setting or user option can have it so you can choose one of three options to open all bookmark tabs in either a new tab, new inprivate tab, or an entirely new window.
