Searching in Edge web history is only limited to the past few days

MVP

When I try to search for a website that was registered in web history in Edge in the past, I can't get any results.

Edge's history page doesn't automatically reload past histories to include them in the search

this page: edge://history/all

needs to be able to actively get older web history entries from our Microsoft account to make the web history search actually practical and useful.

not only the past 2-3 weeks, but go back months.

sent feedback using feedback button on Edge, if you like the idea i encourage you to do the same, that will act like an "upvote" for this

thank you

Great suggestion, I am just really annoyed that they still have the edge://history but there is no other way to access that area without needing to the flyout menu. I love the flyout but I just prefer the other way. It was just much easier.

Will send feedback,

Have a great day :)

If they fix the search, the flyout or the sidebar can easily replace that page
Yeah, just add it by default to the toolbar and make it more wider and easier for people. Well I can see taht as a issue for tocuh users
Not really a UI problem as much as it is a performance and core problem
I just want to see everything I can see here
https://www.bing.com/profile/history

in Edge too.
I can't use Bing History it is broken.

Yes, I agree, it should go for months on a local pc and I dont' see why it can't be done.

Thanks for bringing this up and reporting. I have faced the same issue where if I want to search older history entries and encountered the same. Reported on my end as well.

might need to contact Microsoft support about that if it's broken for you
Sure, but who to contact? Microsoft Rewards? That dosen't make sense, I did report it to Alyxe but I havent' checked if it works on another non microsoft browser yet. Will have to find out a way to do that
No, if your Bing history is not showing up in https://www.bing.com/profile/history
