The new version of the edge address bar is Baidu search by default, but there is no search association function.
The new version of Edge downloaded in mainland China has five preset search engines: Baidu, 360, Bing, Sogou, Google. On the premise that both settings "display search and site suggestions using the characters I type" are turned on, Baidu and 360 only give the results in the search records and no search association results when searching for "Microsoft", but Bing and Sogou give three search association results respectively, and Google also gives three search association results after attaching VPN.
Baidu is the most commonly used search engine in China. In the case that almost all other browsers have Baidu search association function, edge is still inhumane in this respect, possibly because this simplest function has lost a large number of potential users. I hope Microsoft can provide solutions to make edge better.
