Saving favourites

Hi there, Is there a way to save a favourite/bookmark without having to put it in a folder? Sometimes I want to keep a bookmark for just a few days then delete it but in the new Chromium Edge there doesn't seem to be the option just to save - it insists on a folder being designated.

It would be useful to just have it saved at the bottom of the list and simple to find and delete when no longer needed whereas now of course just to delete we have to navigate through all the (very irritating) fly-out menus .... don't get me started on those!

@TrevD This sounds similar to the Set Aside Tabs feature from the old Edge that is in the Top Feedback Summary list requesting this feature be brought forward from the earlier Edge browser.
