I would like to suggest the Running Security Scan to be added to the new version of Microsoft Edge please and that would allow Microsoft Edge to pick up on malware.

Sounds good, If you use it on Windows 10 the Windows defender is already tightly integrated with the browser but for Windows 8.1 and 7 it could be useful to manually tie it with Windows defender.
