"Mark a Tab as a Click to Tab one" feature

Copper Contributor

Hello.

I'd like something like an improved Click to Tab extension to be added as a built-in Edge feature.

To be useful to me, I'd need those improvements:

  1. to be able to turn that on or off per Tab. It would of course be off by default.
  2. to be able to specify the Tab Group target to which those new pages should be added to, also per Tab. By default, a regular click on a link would just opens a new Tab outside of any existing Tab Group.

Let's say I have a Tab Group named Roots with my main tabs opened. I'd like then to be able to associate a different target tab group for each one of those main tabs.

This would be immensely useful to me. While it's being added to Edge , does anyone know if such an extension already exists?

Thanks!
