Progressive Disclosure Chevron in MS Edge Dev?

Copper Contributor

Hello,

Over the last few weeks, I've noticed that a progressive disclosure chevron (I assume) has appeared at the top right of my MS Edge window controls. But it doesn't do anything when clicked or hovered.

What is it for?

@Mark Smith Google Chrome Version 96.0.4664.110 (Official Build) (64-bit) has a tab menu, which is the same as Edge's:

I think the Edge team is implementing it but they have to take care of the vertical tabs etc.

Note that Chrome's button has no pop-up description also when hovered.

Thanks, Ken.
I thought they would've hidden it until it's useable?
Someone probably overlooked this small piece of code. For your information, Canary version just get the tab search UI working 1 month ago. Reference: https://www.reddit.com/r/edge/comments/r57mjb/tab_search_feature_is_now_officially_available_in/
