Hello everyone. This discussion is about profile sync, and more specifically tabs syncing.
I am not sure how this is meant to work, however with Tabs Syncing I imagine that the same tabs & groups that you have on a profile on device X, are also open and created on device Y when using the same profile. Is this correct?
In any case, this never worked for me, and I tried to analyse sync-internals for any hints. Everything looked normal other than the below:
1. In Type Info, Sessions says Backed Off. However, I don't think this would affect Tabs.
2. Tabs entries shows "0", which is not the case.
3. In Status from Last Completed Session, Commit Step Result: SERVER_RETURN_CONFLICT. Not sure if this affects syncing, but seems that there is a conflict of some sort.
I am not sure if anyone else is encountering issues related to sync, however I came across quite a few online discussions about issues with the sync.
