profile inheritance

i would like to see an option when you create a new profile you can get extensions automatically installed based on an other profile.

We do plan to have this feature a part of the Sync features.

This and many other Sync features will be added in later channel builds. 

If you go to edge://settings/syncSetup you can see what is planed for profiles.

I came across this post searching to see if this was possible.

Are there any updates on the feature/progress since 2019? (even if it's been dropped).
