Password import not visible

 I recently had to reinstall the edge canary and found that the passwords fields doesn't have import passwords option anymore. Neither there was any password import flag.

Has it been removed, I need it as I don't depend on sync for passwords. Please bring it back.

It's been removed for a long time (+6 months)

the only available method is this: edge://settings/importData

yeah and thanks to that i had to install an old version of Firefox to import my password in edge they must be reimplement it in edge or a least create a way to manually add them.

Yeah, but you don't need old Firefox, the most recent up to date version works too.

Password import can be done using the Microsoft Autofill extension
