Our customers cannot login using Edge Chromium

Some of our customers are using Edge Chromium and cannot login to our portal. They have no problems logging in with Chrome, Edge Classic, Internet Explorer or Safari (on Mac and iOS). So this is definitely a Edge Chromium specific problem. Does anyone know the source of the login problem and/or a work-around.

Which Edge version/channel are they using?
what error are you receiving? if any.

that article is from 2015, 5 years ago. not sure how it's related today after all of the changes happened.
