Yes, I was also having this issue in the dev channel but this issue went away when I changed my new tab page settings and switch it back to the old setting.

I changed the profile, --> that bug disappeared, BUT now this new bug appeared :

only offline version of ntp is shown.

Happening on Version 82.0.458.0 (Official build) Canary (64-bit) too. with custom profile picture that I set for NTP. gear icon is shown for me but doesn't do anything when clicked on

Update: changed the font size from medium recommended to very large and it fixed it. reverted back and NTP stayed normal
