New Features in build 431

Bronze Contributor

The build 82.0.431.0 was released today in the Canary channel, which has a couple of features added:

  • The Share button has been added to the toolbar.
  • The Appearance page in Settings has been redesigned a bit.
  • The PDF viewer also received updates.  The text highlighting is even now, like all the regular text selection on webpages. Also, the scrolling in PDF files seems to be smoother now!

Another thing worth noting is that since some builds, History from the browser is syncing with your Microsoft Account now(not to be confused with cross device sync). If you open up account.microsoft.com/privacy/activity-history, it shows your recent history from Edge.

Better support for "Adobe PDF" forms, allowing those to be filled out in the browser. A lot of forms require for some reason to be opened in Adobe Acrobat DC but, that can be inconvenient if you already have the form loaded in Microsoft Edge.

I have attached an example of what I mean.

@irgordon Thanks for sharing your thoughts, and welcome to our Insider community! If you haven't already, can you please submit that feedback through the browser? That way it will be added to the product team's review log.
