Music support for Cortana

Can we have music support for Cortana, like the standalone app and (most of all) Google Assistant have? I'm not demanding anything fancy, even the simple ability to open our music player app and "next", "back", "play", "pause" functions would be enough for me

I second that. i have to have two apps ( cortana and MS launcher) because cortana on launcher can't play music from iheart or tunein radio. please bring stand alone cortana features to MS launcher

I was hoping a while ago that the Groove music app for Android would have been eventually incorporated into the launcher some way and work with cortana. I was disappointed when they removed Groove from the playstore, but hopefully they'll do something eventually...
