Microsoft edge sucks

Copper Contributor

I've tried twice to download an important program.

But Microsoft Edge, updates and stops the download, in the middle.

What the heck?

If all of these updates are stopping me from doing work?

This must be a garbage piece of crap.

I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble downloading your program. It's frustrating when updates interfere with your work, but there may be a reason Microsoft Edge is stopping your download. Here are a few steps you can try to resolve the issue:

Check your internet connection: Ensure that you have a stable internet connection that can support large downloads, if the program is large.

Clear your cache: Microsoft Edge may be stopping the download due to a cache issue. Try clearing your browser cache and cookies and then attempting the download again.

Temporarily disable your antivirus: Antivirus software can sometimes interfere with downloads. Try disabling your antivirus temporarily and then attempting the download again.

Check for any specific error messages: When the download stops, look for any error messages and, if possible, see if you can get a screenshot of them. This way, it can be narrowed down whether it's a technical malfunction or if the browser is theoretically doing its job and blocking the download for some other reason, for example if it thinks the program is unsafe.

Try a different browser: If you're still having trouble, try using a different browser to download the program.

I hope these steps help you download the program successfully. If you continue to have issues, please let me know and I'll try my best to assist you further.

@familieslife1 im sorry, but edge is not as good as google even if it has more features its still bad and, microsoft is ruining everything right now.
