Microsoft Edge Insider extension NOT installing on new Edge

I saw a post talking about how there should be a daily list of changes made. This got me thinking about the Edge Insider app I saw roughly a week ago. I decided to have a go at installing it however the option was 'grayed out'. I was then able to install it through the libary part of the Microsoft Store however the application just isn't working on New Edge. It also came to my attention it isn't in the New Edge Extension Store either.

Does anyone involved with the extention or Edge know if this is because it's not working yet or if it's bugged?
