Microsoft Edge Enterprise Sync not working

Hey guys, I can't get sync to work in edge even after enabling Azure AD Enterprise State Roaming (ESR) and Azure Information Protection (AIP). The users have E3 license, Azure AD P1 and Intune. I can;t find anything blocking the sync, Edge simply says "Sync isn't available for this account" and I can;t find a way around it.

 

Has anyone else experienced the same thing? This tenant had Azure P1/Intune in the past in the past but then was without any of these licenses for longer than 8 months, that means any Azure P1/Intune policy should have been deleted anyway.

 

Any ideas?
