Hi, I am a user who since the time of Windows 8 I was impressed by the live tiles, respectively I use them and at the moment.
My suggestion is to consider an option to be used both in the Microsoft Edge browser itself and in the browser's "extensions" feature, with which the browser creates a PWA extension.
I'm sure this would be a great part of the fanatical users of windows that lack the Metro interface. And it would help users using a touchscreen.
The idea is to use "notifications" from the sites for live tiles. Such a thing is done for Android in Launcher 10.

One such feature would make happy Facebook users, especially since the latter removed their app from Microsoft Store

Hi,
I like the idea of PWAs, or sites installed as app in Edge, having live tiles in Windows 10 Start menu, like show notifications and things like that, would be very useful.
also for clarification,
Live tiles are available in Windows 10 too, it wasn't only restricted to Metro interface.
PWAs, progressive web apps or websites that users install as an app in Edge browser, are not extensions, they're apps and can be found here: edge://apps/
and extensions are here: edge://extensions/
There is a suggestion for Microsoft Launcher to get similar theme, feel free to upvote it

@HotCakeX Yes, yes, app in Edge browser in edge://apps/
It is a suggestion that Microsoft Edge has a live tile to be updated through the notifications (edge://settings/content/notifications)
I wish this thing was in Windows 10. I.e. the browser is not limited to a static icon
A similar solution for Android have made live titles the developers of Launcher 10. To which I gave a link above.
Of course, I am not a programmer, there may be a more elegant solution.
