This time I used 20 pages. (links at the end of this post)
They are the same 20 pages that I used in the test with Canary versions ( here )
Using:
Edge Dev Version 79.0.279.0 (Official build) dev (64-bit)
Chrome Dev Version 79.0.3921.0 (Official Build) dev (64-bit)
No extensions installed and no flags enabled.
My PC:
Windows 10 Build 1903 (build 18362.295)
16GB Ram
I run each browser separately.

Some conclusions:
1º - Edge Dev uses more memory than Chrome Dev when opening.
Edge Dev = approx. 511MB (+30%)
Chrome Dev = approx. 391MB
2º - Edge Dev uses more memory than Chrome Dev when each page is updated.
Edge Dev = approx. 3,168MB (+15%)
Chrome Dev = approx. 2,743MB
3º - Edge Dev uses less memory than Edge Canary when opening. (see the Canary test here )
Edge Dev = approx. 511MB
Edge Canary = approx. 1,433MB (+180%)
4º - Chrome Dev uses less memory than Chrome Canary when opening. (see the Canary test here )
Chrome Dev = approx. 391MB
Chrome Canary = approx. 484MB (+23%)
5º - Edge Dev uses more memory than Edge Canary when each page is updated. (Canary test here )
Edge Dev = approx. 3,168MB (+15%)
Edge Canary = approx. 2,749MB

As I am not taking a test by following the strict rules that specialized websites usually do, these values should not be considered as definitely correct.
It would be interesting if more people would perform this test on their computers using the same websites I used to check if they get different values.

Glad to see these tests. They're fascinating on a technological level. I'm on the Canary side of town so seeing the comparisons of "Dev" versions is nice (and educational).
