That is the natural position and where I had it set in the Vivaldi browser. The sight of a right handed person is placed slightly to the left of the screen. As such I am always viewing the tab strip; and accidently clicking on it for expanded view even though it has been over a week testing vertical tabs in canary. I am convinced that I will never really get used to it, the ergonomics involved won't allow me to.
Likewise, I would like the collections on the left side.
I would like to keep them in my sight. This helps with adding content that goes well with my previous collections. It is so much better this way. Very very natural. Add this to planned please or else it will forever be a sticking point for me and make me envy Vivaldi.

@cheeseleader - Yes to this. It is a natural position for a right handed, left-to-right reader.

Just let them do it because it doesn't make any sense that we don't have a choice to do it ;)
