Hey there! We don't recommend setting Canary as the default browser for the reason listed there. In the event that a breaking issue goes out to Canary, or a particularly gnarly bug occurs, we don't want folks left in a bad state with their default. However, this is a conversation that the team revisits from time to time, so definitely submit feedback (... menu on the top right > Help and Feedback > Send feedback) and let the team know you'd like to be able to do this and why. =)
