Why do users still have to hold Alt to select hyperlinks in 2020?

The extension ‘Select like a Boss’ aims to solve this issue, but it comes with issues of its own, eg HTML is inserted into the page which prevents forms from submitting increasingly more often.

Please allow users to select hyperlinks just like any other text natively. If Opera could do it more than a decade ago, Edge can do it too!
