I noticed importing browser settings from Google Chrome is only possible when the Google Chrome userdir is the default %localappdata%\Google\Chrome\User Data. In our corporate environment we choose to have %appdata%\Google\Chrome for our user data directory (for various reasons), and we define that by GPO, which translates to the following registry key:

HKCU\Software\Policies\Google\Chrome\UserDataDir = ${roaming_app_data}\\Google\\Chrome

It would be a really nice feature for us (and probably others who use this GPO) if Edge would honor this registry key to look where the user data is to be found.
