IE mode not always working after upgrade to 86.0.622.63

Hello, we started using Chromium Edge this spring, with an Enterprise Sites List defined via GPO. All was well until this week. Apparently Edge upgraded to 86.0.622.63, and since we have had users reporting that sites defined in the Sites List sometimes open in IE Mode, and sometimes do not. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

If your company has Edge dev, it is working fine.
We are using the "Official" Build

@Scruffy71Ok. Hmm... Tell your users to head over to edge://settings/defaultBrowser and scroll down to "Internet Explorer compatibility" and check the settings.
