I want the PDF tagging feature of the older edge

I always make notes on PDF files with my surface pen and surface pro 7.But when the canary version of Microsoft edge released,I found it is not so helpful when I make notes on PDF files.T don't know how to describe, but the feeling of writing on it is far less than the old version.
