Among other things it suggests to uninstall MS Edge Insider builds using standard Windows 10 methods. Its an interesting suggestion, however lets not forget we deal with Canary and Development (pre-alpha and alpha) builds here. So not surprising, default Windows uninstall methods at times won't work. In addition, MS Edge Insider is installed with No Repairs Allowed flag in Registry. To make things worse, it doesn't register itself in a way that allows to list and remove it like other Windows Modern Apps via Admin Powershell commands.
As a result, there is no way to repair or uninstall by standard means some Edge Insider builds other than manually looking for remnants all around hard drive and Registry. Can Edge Insider Support list here all folders and Registry keys, a user needs to delete to completely uninstall an MS Edge Insider build, both 32 and 64-bit versions? Are there any Windows Settings a user would need to change after that?
Can Edge Preview team offer a standalone Cleanup Tool for cases like this?
