Is having a high renderer memory usage normal for the Mac versions of the browser? On idle it uses about 3GB of memory for the renderer alone even with no tabs open. Both Chrome and Firefox sit at around 400MB in comparison.

It's not normal. I have 200-300 MB on Edge insider canary on Windows 10 with 16GB DDR4 RAM
