Hi @vy1618b

I'm on Version 80.0.360.0 (Official build) canary (64-bit)

when I try to turn it off/on, the text doesn't change here either which is normal imo because turning off/on other options in the site settings don't change the texts either.

please let me know if i'm missing something there

@HotCakeX

Button on
Allow sites to ask to become default handlers for protocols

Button off
Do not allow any site to handle protocols

In Chrome, the text changes as above, but not in Edge dev and Edge beta. Is it a bug?

I'm sorry because I'm not good at English.

Neither does it change in Canary, so I think it's safe to assume it's not a bug but actually the behavior of Microsoft Edge.

that being said, I totally agree with you, the problem is that another line of description is missing from the handler setting.

for example please take a look at this screenshot

there is a little grey description under the white text, explaining what happens if the option is turned off. that is not available for the handler, so it needs to be added.
