There's one thing that makes me to turn to other browsers.
Opening an FTP folder with login information
Eg. ftp://username:password@ftp.domain.com/
In the older Internet Explorer, I'll see the users directory listing.
In Edge devel, it logins to the anonymous user account.
Next step is also important in this use case:
When the file list is displayed;
Right click a file, then "Copy shortcut" so that includes the login information
