From Bleeping Computer: "Google Begins Testing Extension Manifest V3 ...." Will Edge Insider follow?

Bleeping Computer news links to a post at Chromium Extensions Google group offering developers a chance to "experiment with parts of MV3." 

Any word for us Edge Insider fans whether Microsoft will adopt MV3? Personally, I hope we at least have a choice. Thanks for your time.

@Watney   I would like an answer to this as well.   If they do use the complete manifest v3 build I will stop using this product.

I hope Microsoft don't follow Google's footsteps, i hope Microsoft Edge becomes a good alternative to chrome browser for whoever deciding to switch
