Hello @tistou!
You can uninstall and download again microsoft edge canacary and it will normal then you sign in with your microsoft account to synchronize.

@tistou Thank you all for reporting this! I've posted an update on this thread, but here's the summary: it looks like there are a couple of bugs in getting the update out, and we are working directly with the product team on it right now.
