Edge Updater lags while updating on Windows 11

Hey Insiders,

Has anyone else seen the Edge Updater hanging while applying updates?

I am on Windows 11 Build 22000.132 & while updating Edge Canary, the system hangs a lot & for the update that used to take merely 3-4 minutes, now takes more than 30 minutes. The update process on Edge Stable seems to be fine.

Is anyone else seeing the same behavior? Seems to be an issue with the Edge Updater.

Update: While updating to today's Build 94.0.0.988, the update process was much faster, reducing the update from >30 minutes to ~8 minutes. Huge improvement, & this time can be reduced further by making more changes to the Updater.
