Edge Sync not working

Hi,

 

we are having problems with the Edge sync feature. We are running Windows  10 Build 1709 and 1909 together with a RDS serverfarm running on Server 2019 and Edge Build 80.xxx. Currently all users are having a profile with the NT style Domain\Username login user name. If we add an second Profile and login with the upn, everything is running fine.

How can we fix this issue?

what is the problem with sync exactly?

p.s build 1709 support ended:

(unless you are using Enterprise or Education editions in which case there is still 1 month of support remaining)

We know that the support for 1709 has ended a long time ago, but we are getting the error on both Versions.

If the user is loged in automaticly  with domain\username we are getting an error "No synchronisation is available for this account.

 

And we can not change the login style to upn.
