Edge - Report Viewer datepicker not working

We migrated from IE11to the Edge-Chromium and our customers are not happy because the Date Picker control is not showing. I understand this is a Chome bug that Edge inherited. 

Could Microsoft please give me the status  on this issue, like when do we expect a fix? Thanks.

@microsoft: Please respond to this topic. No reply yet, - this is not acceptable. Our customers are very unhappy after we encouraged them to embrace Edge-Chromium.
