Are the edge teams going to disable or do something? They really need to think of a way to stop these from happening.

PS: I think if they is a scam or something. Say we are currenting reviewing this app or extenstion since of reports of scam and viruses

Agreed, there needs to be tighter checks for extensions when someone publishes them to the store and also checks and scans after each update so a developer won't suddenly decide to go rouge and infect everyone.

Yeah, you cant just trust them once and let them go. You hae to check every update
