Edge Download Problem

HI,

The old edge i was liking better because of the download pop-up feature.

Now with the update a few months ago, Edge auto downloads every file onto the SSD Drive C     but in the previous version, we could select the place, in this version you need to click on save as and then the directory. It is very very irritating. It was suppose to be only one click now it is 2 to 3 clicks per download.

This particular problem is forcing Edge users to switch to Chrome once again. As chrome has this feature.

Is there any way around it to bring the old functionally back?

I have tried to move along with the new feature but all in vain, its very difficult, i have been trying it for literally months after the update was released.

You can change default download location from downloads settings:
edge://settings/downloads

but to get the old functionality back, please file a feedback using feedback button on Edge
(shortcuts: Alt + shift + i )

Is there no other way?

IK how to change the location but dont like the new feature.

Not at the moment, that's why I suggested to request it by sending feedback, they might bring the old functionality back if enough people want it.

I personally don't need the old way, the new feature is good for me.
