Edge Dev crashes after last win 10 insider update

Brass Contributor

Not sure if it is after the win 10 insider update or the Edge dev update. (they happened at the same time for me. But since then Edge crashes intermittently. It does not matter which website I am on. Not sure what is doing it. All I suspect it is video playback. Because loading videos has slowed down

Hi,
since you mentioned video playback, i suspect it has something to do with hardware acceleration or graphic card driver.
I'm also on insider build 19030.1 but with Edge canary, usually the GPU driver automatically installs after I install a new build
Did try different websites to see what makes it crash. YouTube so far no problem. BBC.com every time when the video finishes. CNN no problem again. So, it looks like the format that BBC.com uses is the problem.
I tried to add a picture of a video with a description. So, have to type it in.

Hope that helps a bit
Try turning off tracking prevention and autoplay blocking.
see if it changes anything, next thing try disabling all the flags, then extensions.
these are the things I would try
