for 99% of our users, the IE compat list works fine. We have seen occasionally on some PCs where the version is not updating as we make changes, and if we have the user do a force update, it gives the error: "Error: Failed to download EMIE Sitelist. The request failed with status 401". The proper sitelist path is actually listed, and the user is able to download it manually.
If we create a new profile for the user, or if anyone else logs into the PC, it works fine, so we are sure it is in the user's profile, but I would love to be able to resolve it instead of creating a new profile for the user.
Any ideas how to get these broken few to update correctly?
